Well, I guess I'll start with my name.

It's Bootle, born and raised.
I live in Calgary Alberta and have been frequenting mod blog for years without ever really participating (with the exception of a body-two account a wile back).
I personally got into body mods during those angst filled years in my early teens.
I'd never really thought about piercings until some one told me "if i was going to harm myself, at least make it tasteful".
In truth, fairly stupid advice looking back, but it encouraged me to pierce my cartilage on my right ear.
Than my lobes, 3 times on the right, once on the left.
Than get my eyebrow done by a professional (I'm never going back there again, 14 gauge straight bar bell is not good eyebrow jewelry, but I was young and naive) as soon as I turned 15.
It kind of took off from there.

Now I have (cliche list):
Two 14 gauge lip piercings on my right.
Two microdermals above my right eyebrow.
My 14 gauge left nipple.
Four 14 gauge lobes.
One 16 gauge cartilage (the one that started it all).

Unfortunetly, as we all know, some piercings get lost along the way:
Eight gauge RPA.
Four different 14 and 16 gauge eyebrow piercings (They just don't like me)
Two 14 gauge nipple piercings
One 16 gauge cartilage
Two 14 gauge lowbret piercings on my left side
Two belly button piercings.

I love M*A*S*H.
I can pretty much trace all my moralities back to Hawkeye Pierce.
It's all fairly simple, senseless violence and hate = bad.
Compassion and acceptance of others differences = good.
Needless to say, growing up I learned more about the person I wanted to be from that show than anything else.
